About the Awards:
I’m honoured to share that I received the Platinum Award at the Annual Volunteering Awards hosted by the University of West London https://www.uwl.ac.uk/current-students/support-current-students/volunteering/volunteering-awards, celebrating over 400+ hours of meaningful community service.

Why It Matters:
The UWL Volunteering Awards shine a light on students and graduates who go above and beyond to support their communities—whether through mentoring, outreach, digital engagement, or hands-on service. The Platinum tier is the highest level of recognition, awarded to those who have contributed 200+ hours of verified volunteering.

My Volunteering Journey:
Over the past year, I’ve dedicated time to mentoring students, supporting digital literacy programs, contributing to sustainability initiatives and teaching flight simulator. These experiences have deepened my understanding of leadership, empathy, and the power of collective action.

Reflections:
“Volunteering isn’t just about giving time—it’s about building bridges, sharing knowledge, and creating lasting change. I’m grateful to UWL and the Volunteering Team for fostering a culture of service and growth.”
